What the app includes and stores
The app includes 64 robotics terms bundled with the download. It does not fetch this study content from a remote service.
Your study progress and app settings are stored locally on your device. Robotics Terms Simple has no user account and no developer-operated backend.
Optional spoken-answer practice
Spoken-answer practice is optional. The app requests microphone and speech recognition permission only when you choose to use that practice feature.
The app requests on-device speech recognition. If on-device recognition cannot be used, the app treats speech recognition as unavailable rather than choosing cloud recognition. You can continue studying and reveal the definition without speech recognition.
Apple device services
Microphone access and speech recognition are Apple system services controlled by your device permissions. Although the app requests on-device recognition, Apple may process device-level services under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. The developer does not receive audio or transcripts from those services.
You can review or change microphone and speech recognition access at any time in the Settings app on your device.
Collection, sharing, and advertising
The developer does not collect or transmit personal information through Robotics Terms Simple. The app has:
- no account or sign-in;
- no developer-operated backend;
- no advertising or advertising identifiers;
- no analytics or tracking; and
- no sale of personal information.
